She’s Younger Than Him
Brand is known for dating younger women— including his ex-wife of 14 months, Katy Perry—and this time is really no different. Gallacher is 30 years old and she married Brand in a private, intimate ceremony at a church near their home in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon in August earlier this year. According to The Sun, the bride and groom were on a steamboat, which later took them to an Indian-style reception after the ceremony. Laura Gallacher’s net worth isn’t verified and she was dating Brand on and off for years.

Brand and Gallacher welcomed their first child last November, a daughter named Mabel. In an interview with People, Brand expressed how excited he was to be a father, saying “Now, I’m responsible for this human being … This resource of love that you have in you is limitless and everybody is worthy of love.”

Brand’s Sobriety Helped His Relationship
As many already know, the comedian had a serious addictive lifestyle, one that wasn’t suitable for a family. Whether it was sex, drugs, porn, food, or alcohol, Brand abused it all. Now, thanks to his 12 step program, he’s been making amends and he details his journey in his new book.
“I don’t think I’d be able to have the relationship if I didn’t have the program because I wouldn’t be in an emotional and spiritual position to commit to family life. “[The program helps me to] look at my wife as an independent person. It’s not her job to take care of me emotionally or physically. I don’t take stuff personally.”
“In the past I thought relationships were about making me feel good, or making me feel punished, or warped ideas like a lot of people [have],” he added. “Now I have a guiding template, a guiding form, that I’m aiming towards. It means that in my relationship I’m a lot less selfish than I’ve been in past relationships. As a parent my job is to nurture and to be sometimes unbelievably patient.”
That patience also includes non-stop feedings, no sleep, and playtime even when Brand is already tired.
